Orange County, FL – Ahead of upcoming 2024 elections, the League of Women Voters of Orange County, Florida, offers the comprehensive nonpartisan resource Vote411.org. This “one-stop shop” for election information provides Orange County voters with simple, accessible tools to help them navigate the voting process. VOTE411 provides candidate information, voter registration details, polling place locations, and other essential election information for all voters nationwide.

“From local ballot initiatives to important state races, it is crucial voters in Orange County make their voices heard this election year,” said the League’s president, the Rev. Kathy Schmitz. “VOTE411 is the nation’s most trusted online election tool that provides voters with the resources they need to make an informed vote this fall. We have  published our VOTE411 voter guide for all Orange County voters.”

In addition to the VOTE411 voter guide, the Orange County League conducts voter registration events throughout the community, on college campuses, and at high schools. We host candidate forums for local and state races, staff elections precincts, and present voter education via live broadcasts and popular Hot Topics luncheons monthly on second Wednesdays. Go to www.lwvoc.org for more information.

With resources available in both English and Spanish, VOTE411 helps millions each year learn more about what’s on their ballot, where candidates stand on issues, how to  find their polling place, and more, said Schmitz. The guide has proved especially helpful for young people and first-time voters.

“Our league is pleased to provide this important, nonpartisan resource to Orange County voters,” said Kathy Sheerin, Voter Services Committee chair. “We encourage voters to visit Vote411.org to make a voting plan so they are prepared to cast their vote confidently on Election Day!”

Eligible Orange County residents can register to vote and request vote-by-mail ballots at www.ocfelections.com, Sheerin noted, adding that many voters don’t realize all vote-by-mail requests expired on Dec. 31, 2022. To continue to receive vote-by-mail ballots, you must submit a new request each general election cycle. Use your signature that matches your driver license.
