Speak with One Voice and Make it Heard--LWVFL Convention Theme

As our members attend this weekend's LWV of Florida's Convention here in Orlando, we are reminded that our "League voice" is a LOUD one. As a member of LWVOC, you are automatically a member of our state and national Leagues. Members everywhere are gearing up to educate and register voters across our county, the state, and the nation. But here in Florida, we are FIGHTING against another voter registration roadblock:

"The League of Women Voters of Florida, represented by Campaign Legal Center (CLC), sued Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody and Secretary of State Cord Byrd to block provisions of Florida’s recently enacted omnibus election law that would restrict and penalize basic nonpartisan civic engagement efforts." We are almost at the midpoint of 2023 which means the pivotal 2024 election year is within sight. Our goal to empower voters for this election will mean countless hours of volunteerism, strong committees to disperse information, and necessary funds to make it all happen. Speak LOUDLY with us!
