WHO HAS YOUR VOTE?   Election security is a top priority for voters, and if any issues arise, the Orange County Supervisor of Elections will be at the center of it all, answering questions from local, state, national, and even international audiences. After Bill Cowles held the position since 1996, a new era is dawning. The upcoming Hot Topics forum is your chance to hear directly from the candidates on how they plan to address various scenarios, their proposed improvements, and their strategies to ensure the integrity of our elections while boosting voter participation.

In March, Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Glen Gilzean, a Republican, to step into this pivotal role. The race is heating up with three Democrats and one NPA candidate actively vying for the position. While Gilzean hasn’t yet revealed his election plans, he’s set to make an appearance at the highly anticipated June 10 Hot Topics candidate forum to discuss the upcoming fall elections.

Doors will open at 11AM for lunch service, catered by Cuisiniers.
BRING YOUR QUESTIONS for candidates!  (Hint: only Leaguers can ask questions, so Join Now if you want to take part.)

It was a grand time had by all at the recent Donor Appreciation event held at the home of Cynthia and Alex Mackinnon.  Leaguers and donors gathered to celebrate the success of our last year as well as to introduce the new Giving Society.  Photographers Carol Wonsavage and Daryl Fullerton graciously provided snapshots of the guests above.
