Who are we?

We are a group of LWVOC members, also passionate about the National Popular Vote (NPV) initiative in Florida.

That means we're the Orange County Chapter for the Floridians for NPV.

~Every Vote Equal~

The National Popular Vote bill would guarantee the Presidency to the candidate who receives the MOST popular votes across all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The National Popular Vote bill will take effect when enacted into law by states possessing 270 electoral votes (a majority of the 538 electoral votes).

With Minnesota's (10 electors) May 24, 2023 enactment it is now 17 jurisdictions, 205, needing an additional 65 electoral votes.
9 medium-sized (add Minnesota)
42 state legislative chambers in 24 states.
8 states possessing 78 electoral votes (delete Minnesota)
