Two of the last four presidents took office even though they lost the popular vote. Almost 30% of Americans do not believe Joe Biden is the legitimate US President and that the 2020 election was fraudulent. It doesn’t take a constitutional amendment to fix this; National Popular Vote and Electoral Count Act legislation can. In fact, we are 72% of the way to accomplishing the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. And when Mitch McConnell supports the Electoral Count Act, that may be on track.
