Preventing Gun Violence Resources

Carol Wonsavage | Published on 6/2/2022
There are several national groups that a committee on gun safety might wish to follow via email, which track national initiatives, marches and policy statements. There are plentiful sources for statistics about gun violence, its effects on children, numbers of people killed, school shootings, etc. The largest issue, though, is the reality of politics in state legislatures and Congress, controlled by one major party. A June 11 march on Washington is in the planning stages.
