TOY DRIVE, December 1-17
Sending HOPE to the HOPE CommUnity Center.  It's our tradition to collect toys/gifts for this special center at our Annual Christmas party.  Like everything else, our collection will be a bit different this year.  Our HOPE gift collection will occur virtually.

As member Carol Wonsavage so rightly points out, "Good work by the League paid off."  Our goals to help "create a more perfect democracy" include EDUCATION.  With our members who wrote op-eds, our Voter Services team putting together FAQs for the voting process, our Hot Topics team providing monthly educational meetings, the Speakers Bureau and Communications team providing up-to-date information on all platforms...it PAID OFF!

"Florida voters were inundated with the message of how to make sure their mail-in ballots wouldn't be rejected, and it looks like they listened."
“The attention placed on it by outside groups and the parties led to a higher cure rate than in previous elections,” Smith said. “There are still problems with vote-by-mail ballots being rejected, but it was greatly mitigated by the effort on the ground.”

Gift idea!!  Our incredible "Warriors for Democracy" history book written by Ann Patton is still available.
