DEIA Committee | Published on 5/10/2024

May is AANHPI Heritage Month. The DEIA Committee. encourages everyone to take advantage of the rich array of educational content and cultural events offered to Orange County residents to learn about the many contributions to our democracy from members of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community. We know that the more we know about one another and our histories, the better we are able to connect as citizens. Here are some suggestions for your learning pleasure:

Have a Movie Night:

Get together with your neighbors and friends to view the ground-breaking, Oscar-winning movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once”. This 2022 film resonated deeply in the AAPI community, particularly when Michelle Yeoh became the first Asian woman to win the Oscar for Best Actress.
