This is a special meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board. The only topic is the Sustanee development in the Lake Picket area of Orange County. This development was withdrawn in May of this year after the community objected to this 2,500 home project in the rural part of the county. There have been no provisions made by the developer for roads, schools, water and sewer and fire stations. If this development is approved, the residents of Orange County, not just those who live in the development, will have to bear the burden of the infrastructure costs associated with this project.
