Find your niche in the League

The LWVOC (League of Women Voters Orange County) is a distinct community of civic-minded people who find pragmatic solutions to the problems of our time.

We are not a single issue organization.  From our inception, we have taken on issues that affect the well being of families and promote good governance.

In doing so, our members gain meaningful, purposeful connections and
friendships and in the process acquire social identity, legitimacy and respect.

As we grow, our influence grows.  Today, the LWVOC is the largest county League in the United States.

By joining, you automatically become a member of the local, state, and national League of Women Voters and can attend events at the member rate.  Our members stay informed on the issues through our educational programs such as Hot Topics luncheons, Candidate Forums, Education Workshops, etc. where community leaders examine all sides of important issues facing our community, state, and nation.

You'll be invited to mingle and learn at our social mixers and meetings, as well as network with like minded members.  Staying up to date with our activities is easy as we email weekly Newsletters and post on our social media.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policy

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to the organization’s current and future success in engaging all individuals, households, communities, and policy makers in creating a more perfect democracy.

We strive to have no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, gender identity, ethnicity, race, native or indigenous origin, age, generation, sexual orientation, culture, religion, belief system, marital status, parental status, socioeconomic status, language, accent, ability status, mental health, educational level or background, geography, nationality, work style, work experience, job role function, thinking style, personality type, physical appearance, political perspective or affiliation and/or any other characteristic that can be identified as recognizing or illustrating diversity.
