Are you ready to show your support for the Orange County Charter Questions #1, #2, and #3!?
#1 Protects our water from pollution
#2 Saves Split Oak from development
#3 Protects our rights to petition
On Sunday, a coalition of advocacy groups is joining forces to honk, yell, and decorate their cars to put on a large caravan showing the bi-partisan support for these Orange County Charter Questions!
The League of Women Voters of Orange County strongly encourages support for the local Orange County Charter amendments and are planning this event to show solidarity between all participating groups.
We’ll start from The Day Building (Lake Eola) at 605 E Robinson St, Orlando, FL 32801 stopping at a few lakefront locations to wave signs at traffic (see link below of our map of stops). Finally, we’ll end up at Wekiva Island for cupcakes and/or beer on the river’s edge.
If you want to Wave Signs & Rally Around the GOTV effort but you don't want to participate in the caravan, that'll be great, too! Bring your enthusiasm and meet us at a location along our route! The schedule below will tell you where we'll be throughout the afternoon. Come meet up with friends and create some momentum for this extraordinarily important election!
Please join us (with your mask) at one, two, or all stops to showcase the urgency and excitement for these amendments to pass!
It’ll be fun, socially distant, safe, and a proactive Get-Out-The-Vote activity we all crave!
