Sat. DEC 16, Time for Postcards!

OVER 4000 PETITIONS REJECTED JUST FOR SIGNATURE MISMATCH
At the Quaker Meeting House, 316 E. Marks St.

To cure* petitions, we are sending postcards** to voters in District 9 (priority District for FPF--the abortion ballot initiative coalition), those voters that had their petition rejected because their signature didn't match the one on file. This is serious because not only did their petition reject in a high priority district, but their Vote-By-Mail will likely reject too. We need these voters to fix their signatures and send in a new petition.

*curing a petition means contacting a voter for mismatched signature, missing information like signature, date signed, etc. in hopes that they will print the petition and resubmit.
**postcards besides personal visit are the most effective way to get action--phoning and texting are not

We will be addressing and stamping the cards. We need all the help we can get. It can't just be the usual suspects. We need you.

This is a priority because we paid for the postcards and stamps, they are rejects from a priority district, and because we can improve Vote By Mail results in special elections and the 2024 primary and elections. This is serious for all of us.

HELP!

Please can you make time to do postcard addressing? There will be great camaraderie among the postcarders too.

Agenda is:
12p Address Postcards
5p Schedule another time to do postcards?

Take Care,

Debbie
