UCF Air Quality Study - Update
In recent months , League members have been stepping up to get involved with the UCF Air Quality Study. Involvement can take the form of either hosting a small air quality sensor and/or participating on a focus group that will receive information about the air quality data from their neighborhood's sensors.
In the case of Val Mobley, Natural Resource member, her church near downtown Orlando, Broadway United Methodist Church, is hosting an air quality sensor and she will be part of a focus group made up of church members and neighborhood residents. Focus groups will receive air quality data from nearby sensors and training on how to advocate for better air quality.
Do you live in Avalon Park? or in City of Orlando districts 2, 5 or 6 and want to get involved or learn more? Contact airquality@ucf.edu
