Want To Be Heard Loud And Clear?
Come To Our Advocacy Workshop On March 15
Leaguers In Action, a new committee driven by group of active, dynamic LWVOC leaders, is kicking off its agenda with an Advocacy Workshop
scheduled for 6:30-9 p.m. on March 15 at East End Market.
Deirdre McNab will lead a panel of experts who will share their proven experience.
Members of some of our strongest advocacy committees, including Gun Safety, Education, Voter Services, Affordable Housing, and Health,
will make presentations as well as facilitate breakout sessions.
This interactive approach is designed to make the most of the time allotted so that when you leave, you are equipped to make your voices
heard through a variety of mediums and venues. We’ll also provide takeaway materials.
“Armed with the desire to act, the knowledge to direct, and the fortitude to move forward, together we become an insurmountable force
for change.” believes Reanna Stout, Committee Chair.
In the coming months,Leaguers in Action is also planning to host workshops to address Public Speaking and How To Run For Office. Stay
tuned for updates. For more information, contact Reanna Stout.

Leaguers in Action mission:
Our mission is to provide the best tools and resources to maximize impact so that involved citizens and groups are better informed and prepared
to participate in government and politics. We develop and present workshops for members, as well as the larger community, focusing on actions like
Advocacy, Running for Office, and Public Speaking. Our goal is to fine tune and package these and other workshops as an added value to the types
of education and services the League of Women Voters provides to all citizens.
